I DONT want to be a heel here but I think the Dragons were more concerned about the reasons they wanted the $150K and the valuation of the company. They valued their company at half a million dollars.

Yes they had sales and thats the first thing investors of any kind look for. There are dozens of examples on that show of people who go in valuing their companies at $2 million with no sales and say its valued on “potential”

Another reason they were worried is that no one in the family wants to go full time into the business. As entreprenures you want to go full board into the business, but they “seemed” tenative.

Remember they HAVE to get the amount they were asking for or they get nothing. Doesnt mean they wouldnt have invested if they came in lower, or had future plans of expansion by the principles of the company.

It seemed all they were looking for was a salary to compensate while they decided if they were going to go full time in the company.
